About me
I've always been at my best when enabling others to thrive, facilitating conversations and finding creative ways to enable people to be their natural best selves.
As someone who's made a number of career and life transformations, starting my career as a broadcaster and voiceover artist, co-founding a music & events start-up and later transitioning into the world of technology, I experienced most of the challenges that show up for my clients first hand - I spent 12+ years building and leading People/Talent teams for fast moving tech startups, guiding C-suite level executives and leaders on how to drive greater team performance and lead through change. I'm a single parent, an immigrant and a woman occupying often very male dominated spaces.
It was through the power of coaching that I first understood the true meaning of leadership. Energised by how coaching helped me in my journey, realising that it has all the best parts of my People Leadership role (supporting, developing and enabling others to excel), and equipped with a valuable insight on how a dedicated coach can help us thrive in work and life, I now work with clients who too are keen to raise their self-awareness, lean into their strengths and reach their full potential.
My unique Entrepreneur + Leader + Operator + Coach background enables me to combine past experience with proven coaching techniques to unlock potential and help my clients thrive. I blend my love of problem-solving, my experience with bringing about change, my bias for action and my unwavering passion for helping people get unstuck to help you become more effective at work and more fulfilled personally. Supporting and guiding you as you navigate the challenges in your role / career / life, I'm not afraid to challenge existing norms and behaviours to encourage helping you find a better way forward, one that truly works for you.
Most of my work tends to be with senior leaders, on both team and individual level. I also frequently coach people managers and emerging leaders or those stepping into bigger / different roles, those experiencing life and career transitions (returning from maternity leave, experiencing redundancy or those navigating the challenges of solo parenting). I have a particular soft spot for anyone working in technology sector, startups / scale-ups, fellow solo parents and People-People (HR/Talent folk) and women in leadership.
My values of authenticity, courage, kindness, freedom, joy, simplicity and connection inform how I coach - I'm open & direct, coaching with warmth, compassion and humour, and aiming to hold things lightly while supporting you in your quest to do, and be better.
I work well with anyone wanting to step out of fear and into the courage to be their authentic self and my coaching style works best for those with curious minds who want to become (even more) self-aware, more effective and more authentic in their work and life.
I'm a fully qualified Executive Coach, and hold the ILM Level 7 Diploma for Senior Level and Executive Coaching & Mentoring. I've also completed a number of other coaching courses - Foundations of Group and Team Coaching, Coaching for Impostor Syndrome and Positive Intelligence (PQ) Coaching Course.
